The first event of the year, PHISiklaban, brought the brods of the Phi Kappa Mu Fraternity and the sisses of the Phi Lambda Delta Sorority together for an afternoon of team-building activities filled with games, laughter, and even a few scratches for some. The day-long event was held on the 16th of January 2016 at the residence of Sisses Beverly Jean Rosario Aquino dela Cruz-Rosas Φ1984 and Francesca Ysabel dela Cruz Rosas Φ2016 in Ayala Southvale Primera, Muntinlupa City. It was led and hosted by Brod Manuel Sabalo Vidal, Jr. Φ2014 and Sis Jade Arianne Amacan Chuahiong Φ2015. The participants were randomly assigned to four teams: Blue, Green, Yellow, and Purple.

The teams were first tasked to make a group cheer and mascot, which was presented to and judged by the gracious host. Inspired by the famous line “Gagawan ng paraan”, the Yellow and Blue team rose victorious for the group cheer and mascot, respectively.

“IdentiPhi” was the next game, where two teams had to identify the chosen person of the opposite team, but it had a twist: only a body part of the chosen person can be seen. The Green and Violet team were the fastest teams in identifying. A Paper Dance and Food Relay happened afterwards, and the day’s games were ended by a fiercely competitive Trip to Jerusalem.

After all the points were accounted for, the Blue team won first place with 18 points, the Yellow and Violet team were tied at second place with 15 points, and the Green team finished last with 12 points. The afternoon was concluded with an abundance of food, pictures, and the proud voices of the Loyal Sons singing the fraternity song.

Three cheers to our gracious hosts, sisses Beverly Jean Rosario Aquino dela Cruz-Rosas Φ1984 and Francesca Ysabel dela Cruz Rosas Φ2016, for hosting this year's PHIsiklaban, and to Timothy Carl Francisco Uy Φ2012 for heading this event!
